Raven Intumenscent Seals (Fire and Smoke)

Intumescent seals are seals that are predominantly used in door sets manufactured by fire door fabricators. Increasing Increasingly manufacturers of door sets (the door leaf with frame) are incorporating Raven door sealing systems into their products prior to leaving the factory.
Raven intumescent seals provide a high performance barrier against fire, hot smoke and fumes. On reaction to fire they expand up to 25 times their original volume and maintain a positive pressure between two substrates.
Unlike sodium silicate based products, Raven intumescent seals are made from a unique material formulation that is not affected by water and can be used extremely damp environments. Raven intumescent seals are clean, non-toxic and display features of outstanding durability and reliability.
