The Room Guard Privacy Controller system provides electronic lock control of multiple doors for any room requiring privacy by the occupants. The most common applications are shared en suites in hospitals and conference rooms with two or more entry doors.The system allows all doors to be locked and unlocked from any door in the system. Each lock provides a clear visual indication, both inside and outside, which displays the locked/unlocked status of the door at a glance.

Connecting More Than Two Locks
The controller is factory configured for connection to two locks, however, up to four locks can be connected. The total load current of the locks must be identified as a larger fuse and power supply may be required. The system may be adapted to control alternative locking devices such as electromagnetic locks and electric strikes.

Operation
In the dormant state, all locks are unlocked and the LEDs are all GREEN.
To Lock the Room
1. Close all doors.
2. Activate one of the integrated turn knobs located on the inside of each lock.
Simultaneously the lever handles on the outside of each door will lock and the LEDs will change to RED. (The inside lever handles remain free at all times.)
To Unlock the Room
1. Operate the inside lever handle of any lock. All locks will unlock and the LEDs will return to GREEN. 
Emergency override buttons may be discreetly located outside the room.
These buttons enable the room to be unlocked from the outside when the room is occupied.
